Irma Yourstone’s Ceramic Figures
I collect my mother’s early pottery, that is, from the time in Huddinge (1942-1959), and have been doing it for a few years now.
Irma Yourstone tested a variety of styles before she finally found her own in Halmstad, namely the so-called blue and brown ceramic with rustic shapes. It is well known today for the audience in the province “Halland” in Sweden and does not need any further presentation.
But her early pottery is virtually unknown today and therefore it’s a pleasure to show pictures of it.
